Our White Sage Bar Soap brings the sun-washed slopes of the Mojave directly to you, and transforms your shower into a chaparral dotted desert landscape.

Our biodegradable cold-processed bar soap combines sustainably sourced and organic oils for a naturally mild formula that gently cleans your skin without disrupting its moisture barrier leaving your skin soft and hydrated. Enjoy this versatile, 100% plant based Bar Soap at home, on the trail, or wherever the adventure takes you. 

This product is made with 100% farmed white sage from a family operated farm in Mexico.

10% of sales of our white sage and sweetgrass products are donated to Indigenous & First Nations groups. We began this initiative in 2019 and have committed to maintain it in perpetuity.

Application

For hands and body. Wet the bar and lather into your hands, washcloth, or loofah. Inhale the sun baked desert vistas. Rinse clean. Store the bar in a dry spot.

Our soaps actually smell like the outdoors because they are scented exclusively with our house made essential oils steam distilled from real plants native to the American West. Nothing synthetic ingredients, ever.

COLD PROCESSED

We don’t use any heat to make our soap. This preserves the properties of our natural ingredients, including our steam distilled essential oils, and produces a soap that is gentle on skin. Cold processed soap also uses less energy during production.

Juniper Ridge and bar soap go way back.

One of the first products ever offered by Juniper Ridge back in the late 90’s was Bar Soap. Back then, the soap was made in our founders basement and sold at a local farmers market in Berkeley, CA. People loved them, and the rest was history.

I love this soap

"I tried one bar to see if I could use it. I have allergies to a lot of trees and Australian pine is one tree I have an allergy to. So far, my skin is fine with this soap. It really gets me clean and it takes care of the body odors well too. I also have seen my nail fungus improve on my toes. I will definitely, buy more of this soap and I want to try all the others as well . I especially like the smell of Cedar so I can't wait to try that bar too. Thank you!"
