Juniper Ridge’s Holiday Cocktails

Nothing summons the holiday spirit like holiday spirits. At Juniper Ridge, wildcrafting is first priority. But, if we can find ways to feather in the “hard stuff” we know we’re on target. This season we spent some time on Mt. Tam, harvesting wild sage, redwood, and firs. We took the trimmings back to the lab and dreamed up our very own wilderness-infused simple syrup, and the results were sensational. Conjure your inner Holiday Cheermeister with a little liquid impetus: Introducing the Mt. Tam Old Fashioned and the Doug Fir Hot Toddy, made with Colorado’s TINCUP whiskey and the vigor of California’s outback.
