November 29-December 5th, the guys of Juniper Ridge are hitting the road and heading to the Pacific Northwest with the indomitable Field Lab Van to visit some friends and celebrate the release of our newest Field Lab Fragrance: Timberline Trail. Taking off this coming Saturday from our Oakland workshop, they’ll travel through Siskiyou Country to the coast before heading up to Seattle and Portland. Chief Storyteller, Obi Kaufmann, had this to say about the exciting trip: “We’re headed to the Pacific Northwest again: home. After so many dry months in the California mountains, I need rain. I need a roaring-fir-campfire at the end of a muddy road with no name. I need to rejoice in the big, dark and wet trees. We are going to cook up some Wilderness Perfume, just for us. A couple weeks of formulation that may or may not make it into a product-harvest for sale; something that captures that healthy, damp world to carry back. Anything to help remember the rich smell of rain, wet dirt, thick green needle, and mushrooms as they push through the living forest floor. We’ll stop to see some friends along the way, and we’ve got a lot to share. The Timberline Trail Beard Oil is here, and it is the most beautiful thing we’ve ever made. Danner Boots in Portland will have it, and so will Asher Goods in Kirkland and Freeman in Seattle. We’ve got some wild plant cocktail making to share with whoever makes it out when we pull the Field Lab van up in front of these amazing stores who mean the world to us and our small company. There is nothing on the planet like these forests, there is nowhere else we would rather be. Come get lost with us; come get wild.” Obi Kaufmann, Juniper Ridge Wilderness Perfumer Look for the Field Lab Van and come say Hello to the guys at the following places: November 30th 4 pm – 8 pm Freeman, Seattle 713 Broadway E., Seattle, Washington December 4th 3pm – 7pm Danner Boots, Portland 1022 W Burnside, Portland, OR 97209 More info about our upcoming Field Lab Fragrance, Timberline Trail, coming soon!
