Conifer trees have one of the most affective, evocative scents in the world. Spruce, Pine, Redwood, Cedar and of course, our perennial seasonal favorite, Fir. There’s just something about the sensory experience one has with these mountain giants. Those sharp, sticky needles. That dense, damp wood. The olfactory memories that come rushing back with one deep breath.
To put all that into a bottle, we head to the rain-soaked forests of the Pacific Northwest—the world’s oldest Christmas tree lot.
Fir trees can grow upwards of 200 ft. and are known for their hardy, aromatic needle-like leaves. Wildharvesting Conifers is especially sustainable. We pull from the lowest boughs of the trees, many of which are naturally felled on the forest floor. We run it all through steam distillation and wind up with a little bottle of the season. An unmistakable blend of Grand, Noble and White Fir essential oils we affectionately call Christmas Fir.
This scent transports you to a time and place so specific for some, and so unifying for us all. Very limited quantities available.
